There is no restriction on purpose so the Senior Shared Ride Program can be used for any kind of trip; medical appointments, shopping, recreation, senior centers, group outings, and more. There may be a small co-pay each time you board the vehicle. The cost is dependent on many variables.

Fixed Route Reimbursement is for passengers who live along an established bus route and are able to use the fixed route bus. Passengers pay up front to ride the bus and can be reimbursed at King Street Station (up to 10 tickets) or can mail in their reimbursement forms every month to rabbittransit for the full amount. Physician verification (signature) is required on the Fixed Route Reimbursement Form.
rabbittransit is offering FREE shared ride service for area residents for COVID vaccines. Advance reservations are required. Residents will need to call rabbittransit no later than noon the business day prior to their appointment. rabbittransit staff will assist individuals in the reservation process.
When scheduling a shared ride trip to a vaccination site, riders must have a confirmed COVID-19 appointment at the location they are requesting transportation. If you are in need of transportation to a COVID vaccination site, contact the rabbittransit Call Center at 1-800-632-9063.

rabbittransit offers transportation at no cost to veterans within Adams, Columbia, Cumberland, Franklin, Montour, Northumberland, and York County. Veterans are encouraged to complete a basic application for Shared Ride service, which aids in supplementing additional rider transportation options such as local medical, pharmacy, socialization, or grocery trips while also allowing more veterans the opportunity to ride.
Commuter Services TransIT provides information on regional transit options including MARC commuter rail, MTA commuter bus, Metrobus and Metrorail & other commute alternatives. TransIT is a member of Commuter Connections, a program of the Washington Metropolitan Council of Governments. This computerized carpool and vanpool matching service is offered free to Frederick area commuters.
Ideal for riders who require flexibility, rabbitEXPRESS passes are available for purchase in advance through the website or through the Token Transit app. Passes may also be purchased in person at King Street Station or rabbittransit administrative offices, or purchased by mail by sending a check and completed order form to rabbittransit, 415 Zarfoss Drive, York, PA 17404.
Transfers:To complete a one-way trip, rabbitEXPRESS riders may board a York or Gettysburg Fixed Route vehicle with a transfer from the rabbitEXPRESS bus for free. Transfers are only good for one hour. Please alert the driver at the beginning of your trip that you will need a transfer.Riders using a transfer ticket from a Fixed Route bus to board a rabbitEXPRESS vehicle will be responsible for paying the difference in fares.
rabbitEXPRESS monthly passholders may ride any Fixed Route bus for free at any time.Lebanon Transit (LT) and rabbittransit have a cooperative agreement where transfers between commuter bus routes are accepted free of charge.
Cumberland County Aging and Community Services has partnered with rabbittransit to provide free Shared Ride transportation for residents ages 60 and better for essential services (detailed below).

Your attendant rides free if you are approved by the transit provider as eligible to use a personal assistant. If the transit authority agrees that you may use a personal assistant, you can choose anyone to be your personal assistant on any given trip.
